Hi guys,
How are you? I downloaded the latest version of iTunes this morning. The radio and the music seem to be working fine, but for some reason jaws doesn't read the links on the store very well. Has this happened to any of you who have downloaded the new iTunes? or is it just me. I'm running it on a 32 bit windowsv 7 machine with jaws 12. Thanks for the help,
Leslie

I don't see much difference between the previous version. and this one. I am running the latest release of jaws 12 and windows 7 32-bit.

Hi,
I was going to create a new topic, but turns out I can just revive this one.
I've just synced my phone with my new laptop (running windows 7 64 bit with the latest version of both jaws and itunes.
Before my solution for getting what I wanted on my phone was this:
I created a folder and just stuck the music i wanted in it.
This was ok, because I only had about 20 gigs of music. Now though, my entire music library is on the same computer that my phone is synced too.
Is there any way to manage the music manually with jaws, and do it efficiently I might add.
Would it be best just to only put the songs to copy into the library, or can i put my entire collection on itunes and select certain songs to sync.
I have 27000 soungs by the way, so this is no small amount of music to sift through.
Thanks for the input.
Cheers

(Using WinXP, latest iTunes, BlindTunes) All I know is that yes, they can be synced by either entire library, albums, artists, or playlists. That means of course that they all have to be tagged to start with. I do like your idea of putting stuff in one folder, then using that as the default location. I assume that's how it works but I've never tried to change it. I normally just add folders, but with that much stuff, jeez. Scary.

To revive the original question here, I can't use the store in iTunes at all. It's a known issue that affects some jaws users and not others. As far as I know nothing has changed with the latest iTunes, and they still don't know what the problem is. I do all my buying on the iphone.

I personally have not had any issues with using the iTunes store with jaws 12 and the latest iTunes. The pages take a while to load so patience is required, but aside from that it's pretty straight forward. There are occasions when the store page doesn't refresh right, but in those moments I just route PC to Jaws and the problem is usually solved.
That being said, buying stuff using the iPhone I've found is far faster and more efficient, so if you have that option, I definitely suggest you pursue it. I usually use the store when I want to get something, my iPhone is not near me, and I don't want to risk forgetting to get it for the next sync.
